My advice to every student is not to prepare for only one of these exams. A student whose primary interest lies in fashion should prioritize NIFT while still keeping NID and UCEED as additional options. On the other hand, a student interested in products, spaces, or practical design challenges should make NID the central focus. A student seeking a stronger analytical component, and for whom an IIT affiliation is important, should invest serious effort into UCEED, particularly Part A.

Seats at NID and UCEED remain limited, and a single challenging exam day can significantly influence performance.
