Center for Environmental Planning & Technology

The university offers various architecture courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.

For admission to the B.Arch program, candidates must appear for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA).

For admission to the M.Arch and PhD programs, candidates must appear for CEPT's entrance exam, which evaluates their knowledge and skills in architecture and related fields  through a Portfolio Review and Interview process.

The undergraduate program is a five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program  covers a range of topics including design, building construction, building services, structural design, environmental studies, and professional practice. The program includes design studios, field visits, and study tours that provide students with exposure to different architectural styles and construction techniques.

The postgraduate program is a two-year Master of Architecture (M.Arch) program provides skills in specific areas of architecture such as urban design, landscape architecture, conservation, and sustainability.

BITS Pilani

Birla Institute of Technology & Science

BITS Pilani offers a 5-year integrated Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the theoretical and practical aspects of architecture, including design, history and theory, building technology, environmental studies, and professional practice.

The B.Arch program at BITS Pilani is  focusing on foundation courses in humanities, social sciences, mathematics, and physical sciences. From the third semester onwards, students take up courses in architecture, building construction, building services, structural design, environmental studies, and design studios. In addition to the core courses, students in the B.Arch program at BITS Pilani can choose to take up electives in areas such as urban design, landscape architecture, conservation, and sustainability.

National Institute of Technology

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Trichy and Kozhikode offers a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program to impart knowledge and skills in various aspects of architecture, including design, building construction, building services, landscape design, and environmental studies.

Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities such as workshops, seminars, and competitions, which provide opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills and gain exposure to the latest trends and innovations in the field of architecture. Upon graduation, students are eligible to pursue careers as architects, architectural consultants, urban planners, project managers, or pursue further studies.

Indian Institute of Technology

The Department of Architecture and Planning at the IITs trains students in the field of architecture, urban design, and planning.The course structure of the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program spans  five years and covers various topics, including architectural design, history, theory, criticism, construction technology, building services, urban design, landscape architecture, and professional practice.To get admissions, student needs to clear the JEE Main Paper 2, JEE Advanced AAT conducted by NTA and the final AAT or architectural Aptitude test conducted by the IIT's directly.
